Export Logistics Executive – Job Information

This SME Freight Forwarder is now looking for a proactive Exports Logistics Executive with experience of (or the ability to learn) all modes of transport to enhance their busy team.

Exports Logistics Executive Job Specification:

Role requirements of the successful candidate

·        Two years’ experience minimum in export operations, on both airfreight and seafreight.

·        Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements, and raising Certificates of origin if required.

·        Experience in completing customs declarations.

·        Experience of CNS and Destin8. Our forwarding software is Multi-freight.

·        Strong attention to detail.

·        Good communication skills and friendly personality.

·        Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

·        Strong and dynamic team player. 

·        Excellent English and Maths skills.

Job responsibilities and tasks:

·        Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.

·        Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.

·        Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.

·        Completing customs entries.                                                                                                                                       PTO

·        Raising export documentation and manifests.

·        Checking with warehouses that screening and check weighing have been completed.

·        Finalising all documentation 

·        Checking vessels/flights have been met.

·        Invoicing, liaising with and sending pre alerts to overseas agents. 

·        Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out anything else that we could look after for them.
